Maine State Flag T-Shirt - New 1901 Pine Tree "Dirigo" Tee

The Maine state flag  from 1901 to 1909 was the first official flag to be used to represent the state; it was later replaced by a more standard military-style flag in 1909.
The flag has seen a revival of interest due to local Maine vexillologists advocating for its re-adoption. There has been a movement for Maine to readopt a version of this flag design since at least 1991, with an unsuccessful referendum on the issue having been held in November 2024. Many believe that its distinctiveness and simplicity make it a more effective representation of the state with many residents starting to fly it again.
