Daddy’s Junky Music began in Fred Bramante’s parents’ basement in Salem in 1966. Bramante said he bought a guitar from a bandmate, who sold it to raise bail money, and then decided he would try and resell it for a profit. After making a deal that made him $50, Bramante said he saw a need for a used musical instrument business. The first Daddy's Junky Music outlet opened in 1972 in Norwalk, Connecticut. From there it morphed into a 21 store chain  located throughout New England and upstate New York and was the largest used instrument dealer in the world before closing in 2011.

Whether you bought your first guitar amp there or drum kit, there's no doubt Daddy's Junky Music Stores brings back many nostalgic memories of the 70's and 80s for those who shopped and worked there. Grab this vintage piece of retro music store history for yourself or a loved one. This old school Daddy's Junky Music Hoodie is the Perfect Christmas Gift or Birthday Present for both Men and Women and will surely transport you back to your nostalgic childhood.
