Caldor Retro Hoodie - Vintage 1990s Graphic Sweatshirt
Caldor was a discount department store chain founded in 1951. Referred to by many as "the Bloomingdale's of discounting," and the cousin of Bradlees, Caldor grew from a second story "Walk-Up-&-Save" operation in Port Chester, New York, into a regional retailing giant. Its stores were earning over $1 billion in sales by 1985. Despite its successes, Caldor suffered from financial issues by the 1990s. The company was liquidated and all 145 stores were closed by May 1999. There's no doubt, Caldor brings back memories of going to the mall in the 70s, 80s for so many people who shopped and worked there. Grab this vintage piece of nostalgic history for yourself or a loved one. This Retro Caldor department Store Hoodie is the Perfect Christmas Gift or Birthday Present for both Men and Women and will surely transport you back to your nostalgic childhood.
